Children's Evaluative Decisions

We are interested in understanding how 5- to 9-year-old children form opinions about others and whether their relationships with those individuals influence how they see or evaluate them. In this study, children will hear a short story about students being chosen for a fun school event. The students will be divided into two groups with different strengths. Children will take on the role of a group leader and decide which students should join the event and compete for a prize.

Data collection for this study is ongoing at a local museum and various schools in the community.
